IGE UK Trust became
a registered UK charity in 1995, and has as its vision "a world
where shared moral values shape relationships, determine decisions,
and guide actions for every individual, institution, and nation"
(shared with its US parent). The specific mission of IGE UK is to
"promote 'ethical fitness' through public discourse and practical
action".
Like its parent organisation in the United States,
the main focus of IGE UK is on values and citizenship education,
public policy, and corporate and organisational services. Its funding
comes from a combination of charitable donations, foundation sponsorship,
corporate and individual memberships, and fees for services.
